Wow. From Liverpool, walked past this restaurant in Hexham. It was busy and asked if they had a table for 3. Manager or owner found us one, he was friendly. Quality of food- Brilliant Staff- All of the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the options. This helped with our daughter 12/13 who is hard to please. Guessing this level of service must trickle down from the manager. Decor- Lovely/Classy and Intimate. I think on balance this is probaly the nicest Indian I've been too. Would have paid more for this standard of food/service/ambience. But it was reasonably priced too. If you came here as a couple you couldn't be anything but impressed. Left the restaurant on a high. Been multiple times, most recently getting a takeaway last weekend. Always full on flavour l, plenty meat and sauce for portions. Delhi butter chicken is phenomenal. I suppose, like most people, you always think all curry houses are basically the same as regards to the food. This one changes that way of thinking. The menu does have the standard buy anywhere curries, then there is the others. If you like curries but want something different, this is the place. Nice setting, on the ball staff, book so you're not disappointed.
