I have straggly, scruffy hair, which I often leave too long between cuts and forget to condition, much to the disgust of most hairdressers! Steph is the only person who doesn't embarrass me by lamenting what awful condition it's in, studying my split ends whilst sighing and saying I need to cut half of it off and sending me out of the salon with a sleek shiny blow dry that I neither asked for nor suits me. In fact the abject distain I've received from 95% of the hairdressers I've visited, put me off going for a long time - until I found Steph. Steph accepts me and my hair and how I like it. She never judges or pretends to listen to me before doing what she's wants with free abandon, like many others. She's a rare find.

Steph was so attentive during the consult and truly ensured she understood what I wanted for my hair colour. I booked my appointment that day. Not only am I so happy with my colour but the whole experience was amazing. Steph has the most beautiful home salon, it literally is perfect. I have a hugely busy lifestyle and being able to relax and let her sort me out was excellent. It was also the most educational hair appointment I've ever had. Would recommend her to everyone

I absolutely cannot recommend Steph or her incredible salon enough. But I’m going to at least try. Ooh, where do I start? Okay, first thing - the salon. THE SALON. It’s incredibly private, impeccably designed and furnished. Every last detail has been carefully thought out and considered - using eco and compostable products where most salons wouldn’t bother - she even has eco friendly sanitary products available in the private separate bathroom for you to take if you need them. Her considerate personality extends from caring for the planet, to being the most bubbly, fun person to talk to (and I’ve sat in that chair for 4+hours having my hair tinted - so I KNOW) doting on her client from the second you walk through the gate and down the pathway through her beautiful garden, down to when you’re all done, twirling in the mirrors admiring her unbelievably talented work. She has GOT YOU. I think the most stand out thing about Zxaar hair is the quality and care of the work Steph absolutely pours every ounce of her soul into. You can tell this woman absolutely ADORES what she does and will not settle for less than perfection. Not once have left feeling underwhelmed - quite the opposite, I am snapping selfies of myself every 25seconds en route home! I will not let anyone else touch a hair on my head unless it is Steph. Period. Her salon also features two of my favourite things on earth - SO MANY PLANTS 🌱 and cute, friendly and patient 🐕 pooches! Shout out the husky galdem! Thank you so much - I will forever be grateful that you are my hairdresser!! 😘💗
