I have been calling Zopa every month for the last almost 3 years as I need to request for my payment breakdown of my loan instalment for every month to see the principal and interest. I need this because I can put my interest as an business expense and I need to fill out universal credit report every month only after that I receive universal credit payment. For the last six months I am having a terrible experience with Zopa because I have to call them more than 5 to 10 times a month and for the same thing. I have explain to Zopa about the importance of this payment breakdown. Every time Zopa staff says oh don’t worry it will be sent within 24 to 48 hours but nothing happens I have to call them again and again same things gets repeated. Staff just says the same thing all over again but don’t try to understand the customer situation. One of the staff said oh you have waited for these many days we will get it sent in 10 minutes now if not then call us back again, but again nothing happens and when you call them back another staff answer and says we can’t tell you how many days it take. I ask them can you please just tell me roughly how many days as I have to fill universal credit report and I need to let them know but they can’t tell me. Now it’s been over almost 20 days since I first contacted Zopa for April loan instalment payment breakdown, missed my universal payment thanks to Zopa as I have not filled my report. Zopa has become from good to bad to worst company, same goes to staff from good to bad to worst. Don’t care what customer has to go through due to their action. I really don’t wanted to write a complain thinking they might improve but this month is just too much been almost 20 days, missed my universal credit payment, bad attitude staff, etc so I had to write this review.

A year ago I reported to Zopa that someone had fraudulently opened an account in my name. They have not rectified it and it is still showing up on my credit score, was very hard to get to speak to a human.

Made an application via compare the market, was told I'd be preapproved for a loan for home improvements aslong as my answers were the same (they were) took 12 days to process and multiple phone calls , just for them to send me an email saying I missed a deadline for uploading documents, which I had already uploaded and on the site/app said I had already uploaded.

HORRIBLE! my card stopped working due to missing payment after falling ill for a few weeks and not earning as much. yet I was sent a message and it said if I made the minimum amount, the action would be stopped (min amount due on 16 February 2023) and paid it on 27 Jan. card says it is accessible and unblocked on the app but still not able to use it. Contacted over the phone and was told because of missed payments I can't use it. I explained I paid the requested amount (on 27 Jan) when I received the message to stop the card from working and way in advance of the minimum payment due date (16 Feb). yet they were giving like "oh well" answers. very unhelpful. Avoid!
