Enjoyed this experience and the setting, especially on a warm sunny day! It’s over quite quickly, with a fair bit of standing around and waiting as people suit you up, check and then you’re waiting for others to go down. And the two zip wires don’t really last much more than a few minutes, but it’s the uniqueness of the experience that makes it worth doing. Yes it’s pricey but the staff are lovely and the video photo package is probably one of the more quality upsells I’ve come across. It’s good quality and comes through quickly. A great memory. I’ve added my video so you can see what you get. Only 4 stars due to price (the voucher you buy as a gift is higher in price than you sometimes can book for it you knew the date) and that I only wish there was more to the experience. History of the slate mine as you’re waiting around, some fun stuff to look at as you drive up to the top like staged models of miners that could be a bit jokey tongue and cheek etc. Maybe this will come with time! There’s just not really anything to do whilst you wait around.

Heeheeheee… what a fantastic day out, so much fun 😃 I don’t think I could recommend this highly enough, from the minute we arrived we were looked after by a professional and extremely friendly Zip World crew with more than a healthy dash of humour thrown in along the way 😍 The smaller zip line gives you a taste of what’s to come but wow, when you look out from the main Velocity 2 station… just incredible views and then a stunning fast ride down 🤩 Our thanks to a very professional and friendly outfit, will definitely come back for a second go 😃 Oh, and I would have taken a photo of the food afterwards but it looked so delicious it went down too quickly 😆
