    I have been trying to get a refund for weeks without success. I had to phone for a replacement water pump for my zip and the engineer fitted it. Unfortunately the pump went again after only 1 week so I phoned Zip to explain the situation. The engineer returned and fitted a replacement. Zip charged me £147 for something which should have been replaced for free under the warranty. They agreed that this should be free but I have been waiting weeks for it to be returned to my bank. Zip have ignored all the emails I have sent them, to say I am not impressed is an understatement.

    We had a Zip tap installed in our new house in August 2019. Since then we have only had the tap fully working for a few weeks and have experienced a catalogue of problems. We have had both Zip and local service engineers to visit us and have had virtually every part replaced but still 3 years on we don't have a working solution. It is now 13 weeks since our local service agent last visited and reported back to Zip that he had tried everything without success. Customer service do not return our calls and the last email over 2 weeks ago said our problem was now with management. Clearly Zip have no solution, they won't replace our tap and don't want to give us our money back. Our customer experience has been poor and for the money paid our whole experience is totally unacceptable.

    Not even worth a star but you cannot post without one. A very expensive waste of a cupboard in the kitchen as the tap seemed to be faulty more often than in worked. The contract for servicing is over priced too as one visit cost £548.40 as the engineer said the tap was useless but had to pay the full years contract. We run a small care home and loved the idea of safety for our service users whilst retaining their independence but this product failed to deliver. We currently use a water Heater / Cooler from Virgin on a monthly contract and are much happier and its so much cheaper.

    Chased an order via email. No response after 5 days. Phoned several times, always on hold, and number 1 in the queue for over 30 mins. Seems they have no staff or anybody available to help.

    Poor product for the price, more time not in use due to malfunctioning. Don't think you can give up your plastic bottles just yet if you purchase a Zip. Poor customer service and one of the worst customer experiences I have had dealing with zip. I had a quooker tap replace my zit and found the experience hassle free and it works. No issues within the 4 months since installation. Premium price does not mean premium quality with a zit tap.

    I have finally decided to bin my Zip MiniBoil tap after 8 years of throwing good money after bad. It was last serviced two months ago and has died again. This tap breaks down at least once a year requiring engineers to come out and fix it each time. I've had new pcb's, new tanks, new pumps, the list goes on. Zip push you to pay their annual service contract and let's face it you have no choice as the tap is so unreliable that it would financially irresponsible not to. Funnily enough in the sales pitch for how efficient it is to run compared to a kettle they don't factor in the £250 a year servicing cost. To be fair the engineers are gracious and helpful, it's a shame that the product reliability is just so poor. I'm now fed up of having to apologise to tenants for the broken tap and wasting my time booking and baby sitting engineers. Their invoicing is also confusing as the line items are written in numeric codes which consumers won't understand (rather than plain English). Several times I've had to get clarification on what I'm being invoiced for only to find out that they should have been covered by the service contract. At this point they've then issued a credit note and not charged me. All in all not a great experience.
