This place smashed, with some real hit dishes for me, which straddled the line between new flavors but somehow still comfort food. The waitress did an excellent job with recommendations, we loved everything she recommended (the only misses were our own choices 😂) We loved the beef stroganoff, borsch, the pelmeni siberskiye and kvass. I would skip the salmon (which was a spring seasonal dish, not bad but not too special) and the mors (which just tasted like juice). For dessert we had the cherry varinaki and the honey cake. I can taste them right now writing this…🤤
