Ordered take away friday night vegatable pakora came with the worst salad .only wilted lettuce with 1 slice of lemon nothing else . Lamb jalfrasi hot but not tasty .Have eaten IN at this restaurant previously and food was great . Fresh salad please onion tomato ect

Having waited for 5 years, in Australia, to have an authentic British Indian meal I was massively looking forward to Zengz after being promised a great experience. I was not disappointed!!!! 🙏😁 The owner managed to fit us in as we didn’t book, I didn’t expect a Tuesday to be busy. So please book! Popadoms were warm, crispy and light and came with the usual 4 sides. Fantastic! Mixed starter platter, freshly cooked with delicious flavours and quality meat. And a chicken and prawn Balti. Oh my god, I was so happy, I made myself eat it all even though I was bursting. BYO also! Thanks for making my week and a highlight of my travels so far.

Working at the NEC and as someone who grew up in Solihull wanted to take my colleagues for a curry. Zengz did not disappoint. Very friendly waiter and chef. Food cooked in the kitchen which you could see into fresh to order and piping hot. Full of flavour and perfect. The guys deserve all the business they get. Thanks for looking after us. P.S Tuesday night is banquet night and very reasonably priced. See you on our next visit.

Ordered a take away and had to wait over an hour after constantly being told it will be just 10 more minutes. Kitchen seemed to be in disarray Upon first inspection the curry tasted very nice and was enjoyed by all. However at 2am my wife started being violently ill. This continued throughout the night and all through the next day. It was diagnosed by 111 as food poisoning. It could only be caused by her curry as no-one else in our party was ill and we all had different mains. We were attending a show at the NEC and losing a vital member of our team not only cost us loss of orders but also she had to be taken home by family causing a 7 hour round trip. I have tried to contact the restaurant directly to discuss this matter but the email address bounced back.
