unfortunately, I took my poor girl to be put to sleep at YOURVETS Wythall, due to ill health, hoping for a good quality service like last time in 2012. Unfortunately we had the grossly incompetent vet name Sona Struharova, upon entering the room where I was waiting with my girl, Sona almost through a bag at me, concerning end of life issues around my dog. Sona come in smiling happy and unconcerned about our feeling, she smiled and joked, which was totally inappropriate. Sona did not once ask about my girls issues, ie she was blind, and had separation issues. Sona just blundered on, stating that she needed a cannula in her front paw, but it needed to be done in the practice room, not the room we were in. we explained about our girl issues, but Sona totally ignored them and took her away, by the way our girl was almost asleep and totally relaxed when we arrived at the vets, after 10 mins I pop out of our room to see what was going on, I noticed that my girl had blue tape on one of her paws, and Sona was holding my girl around the neck and chest, my poor girl was hyper stress by now. upon seeing me Sona stopped, then one of the nurses came to me and stated that my girl was hyper stressed, and unable to put her cannula due to her being stressed. I said to the nurse, was it possible that she could have the cannula fitted in the room we were in, the nurses said that it was ok, but by now my girl was hyper stressed. Vet Sona Struharova went off in a huff, due to the nurses telling her I wanted her no where near my girl anymore. Due to Sona's total and utter incompetence my poor girl, took two hours for her to be put out of her pain. DON'T NOT LET THIS SO CALLED VET, CALLED SONA STRUHAROVA ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR PET, SHE IS AN UNCARING AND BRUTAL PERSON WITH NO CARE OR UNDERSTANDING OF OUR LOVE OF OUR PETS. I am waiting to hear back from the practice concerning my girls appalling treatment, but I won't stop until this so call vet Sona Struharova is struck off. The stress and anger I feel towards this practice and vet is unbelievable stressful. I urge you again never let Sona Struharova anywhere near your beloved pets. Only gave one star because I had to or wouldn't let me post.

We had to bring our beloved dog here as an emergency. Unfortunately we had to make the hearbreaking decision to have him euthanized. The vet who was called April and the receptionist who dealt with us after seemed very professional compassionate and caring. We even received a lovely hand written card from them a few days later. Their kindness at such a difficult time meant a great deal. Thank you
