    My partner and I arranged to view a property with Your Move and on the day, met with Joe and the viewing went very well. We made an offer on the property, followed by giving our best and final offer. We were then informed that the owners had had an independent valuation done as part of the process for repaying their help to buy loan and that the house was actually valued at £330,000, not the £325,000 guide price that Your Move had it listed at. We were advised that the property was priced at £325,000 as the owners were aware the property needed some work to it. We spoke with Joe to find out if we would be able to negotiate with the owners, we wanted to know whether they would be willing to do some of the work needed if we agreed to the new price, or if they could meet us halfway. Joe advised us that Oliver (branch manager) would give us a ring back. My partner eventually called the office back shortly before it closed and was told by Oliver that he had forgotten to call us. Oliver was not helpful at all with the feedback and essentially told us that if we wanted the property, we needed to offer £330,000. We decided to offer the new asking price the following day, and my partner mentioned to Joe that we were disappointed with the feedback from Oliver regarding the negotiations. Oliver called us back not even two hours after making our offer to tell us it had not been accepted. He opened the conversation by saying "Hi, it's Ollie from Your Move. I heard you're disappointed in me, no one has been disappointed in me since school" which we felt was an unprofessional thing to say. Then, when we asked whether the accepted value was in excess of ours, he said "let's just say the value wasn't the issue". That was then the end of the phone call. This has been a very negative experience for us and has really put us off looking at properties with Your Move. As a young couple looking to purchase our first property together, this experience was really disheartening and has knocked our confidence with the purchasing process. We have emailed the Franchise Administration & Customer Relations Manager and had no response back.
