She's amazing at communication, flexible, and genuninely caring --and above all my dog loves her and can't wait to go out every single time! Highly recommend Your Local Pet Care Service. Top class, professional, attentive response to both dog owner and dog's individual needs, Helen is a pleasure to have coming into our home. Having used her for many years now, she has, like all of us, had to adapt to recent changes in respect of Covid rules and we have peace of mind knowing what would happen in a self isolation situation on both sides. Our dogs love Helen's calming presence and we feel extremely at ease with her both sitting our dogs and calling in for feeding/walking.

Firstly to mention I did personally message the owner to provide feedback on our exchange and I had no reply. I would always give someone the opportunity to give their side privately before leaving any review but unfortunately that didnât happen. Incredibly rudeâŚCame to quote and I was greeted with âyou should have told me there was no street nameâ then told this is a favour as the traffic where we live is bad and she wonât be doing it in the future. Then given a lecture about covid and isolating which as a teacher thatâs worked through covid I donât need. Implying that I was being unreasonable to expect my key returning should the owner need to isolate and I was on holiday. I thought about it and actually I would expect the business to return the key, either by a friend of family member or even pay someone. âIf I have to isolate tour animal is no longer my responsibilityâ weâre the actual words. I was totally shocked and how I was spoken to in my own home. Wouldnât give my money to or leave my animal with someone so rude. In tears after she was gone I was so embarrassed at the whole exchange and now have no one to look after my cat.
