Went to get a necklace appraised a few years ago and was told to leave it with them and they'd get back to me. They called to say what the valuation was but that they weren't interested in buying coloured gems at the time. I was overseas at the time and often am so going back to the shop took longer than expected. I went back in a year or so ago to collect the necklace, to be told they couldn't find it anywhere and that they would call in the next few days once they've located it. They called to say they had found it but by that point, i was overseas again. I emailed them they other day to confirm they had the necklace now that I'm back in the UK but they have lost it and apparently dont have any of my details. So I have lost a necklace because they just cant find it - dont trust them with your valuables!!

I have used Robertsons jewellers on Edgeware Road for over 30 years now I've moved to Surrey I still go there , The service is friendly let very professional. I used a pawn shop in Weybridge "Posh pawn" there was three customers in the shop myself being one and two out of 3 were complaining and that the money that you borrowed and what you have to pay back is over double absolutely insane I'd never use that shop again I'd rather take the train into London and go to Robertsons that I've known for years and feel that most things are safe there, worth getting the train for peace of mind
