Massive recommendation for Nicola! I was terrified ahead of my second birth after a traumatic first birth and Nicola helped me build out a plan and some preparation to really feel confident and calm. She had so much knowledge to put me at ease. I also wanted some help with breastfeeding and bottle feeding and she helped me make a plan for how I wanted to approach it second time round. Postnatally she was exactly the calmness I needed, bringing me homemade soup, taking care of my little one and talking through everything with me. My husband and I had a refresher Hypnobirthing session with Nikki (Your Birth Village) prior to the birth of our second child. Despite having had a really positive first birth with our older child, I still felt very anxious about doing it all again. Both my husband and I found our session with Nikki extremely useful - she was very knowledgeable and presented the course is an insightful and engaging way. She was able to allay our fears and we left feeling confident and well-prepared for our sons arrival. His birth was exactly as we hoped (quick, calm and in the birthing pool) and Nikki was a huge part of ensuring that was the case.
