I needed some engine fasteners zinc plating urgently to enable me to complete a motorcycle engine rebuild to a deadline. I called Yorkshire plating having read their reviews. Gary told me, over the phone that they would turn the parts around as fast as they could and should ask for Peter when dropping the parts off. Peter was really helpful and promised me that he would have them ready the following day and quoted a reasonable price. I was delighted when collecting the parts the following day - all completed on time and the quality of plating was excellent. Well done! I have used this company many times now for zinc plating classic car parts and the service is excellent. Peter, who does the zinc plating is very helpful and obviously takes great pride in his work. He knows exactly what he is doing and he will give good advice on how well items will plate. As always with zinc palting, the cleaner you can get the parts yourself, the better the results will be. Use this place all the time for zinc plating motorcycle nuts bolts etc. Very good results (I would recommend giving them a clean up before with a wire wheel for best results). Very friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Won many awards with restorations thanks to this company.
