This is a recommendation for super friendly staff member although we didn't come to buy. My nephew is a 9 y.o who loves to play the piano and came from America for 2 weeks and was dying to play. We came back from a day trip and came across Yorkshire Pianos. I've explained the situation to the nice staff member and he said "go ahead" to my nephew who immediately took a sit and played for 15-20 minutes. Very kind of you and thank you!

We are delighted with our new piano bought from Yorkshire Pianos. When we visited the show room with our son, we were made very welcome and played lots of beautiful pianos before deciding. The service and delivery was excellent - Adam was especially kind with our children, making the piano delivery a very exciting event for them! The aftercare was all good, first tuning done a few weeks after delivery. We feel so lucky to have been able to buy a lovely instrument from such a great company. This is the place to go!

We went in from curiosity, intrigued by the fact that in the middle of nowhere there is a piano shop....and a workshop we discovered later.... Cavendish.. Go there ...visit and buy if you wish...my impression is that there you might understand what passion for pianos is.

Purchased a 1896 steinway last year. This piano has been restored perfectly, and sounds beautiful. I live quite far away from the showroom however the piano was delivered without issue, it’s been a great experience buying a piano and I would recommend Yorkshire pianos to anyone.

When I was looking to replace my old Bluthner upright piano c.1895 I wanted to find an instrument that was built to the same very high standard and would possibly last as long. After the passing of my parents I decided use some of my inheritance to look for a piano that was unique but also if possible hand crafted throughout. Having seen an article about Cavendish pianos I decided to approached the company to see for myself what they could offer. I was guided expertly and sensitively by Adam and decided to have the Yorkshire Rose piano, which is hand made with English Oak in an Arts and Craft design. Throughout the build Adam sent me photographs of the various landmark stages and was very aware of the significance of this instrument. Indeed we were even able to have my mother’s name included above the Yorkshire Rose carving. The final instrument is absolutely stunning in appearance, superbly constructed by caring and passionate craftsmen and most importantly sounds and plays beautifully. This piano is something I will cherish and play all my life but will also be a wonderful legacy to pass on to my children. Thank you to all involved in making my dream come true.
