    Many thanks to Yorkshire Multimedia Services. The staff kept us fully informed all along the way, right up to returning our T.V. after repair. I would defiantly recommend this company. It’s obvious why lots of T.V. retailers use their services, when problems occur (and they do!) they know this company have hardworking staff who care at the end of the day. Best Regards.

    Bought a Samsung TV from Richer Sounds three years ago. The screen developed a fault. Albeit the manufacturer warranty had expired I contacted Richer Sounds to see what could be done. They informed me I was a member of their VIP Club, which meant my TV was covered for repair for six years, and told me to ring Yorkshire Multi Media Services. I have to say I consider the service received from YMMS has been first class. From my initial call to them to outline the fault I was informed of what the issue might be and the options available. Appointments were made with an am/pm appointment time which; on the day were narrowed down to a more specific time frame e.g. between 1pm and 3pm. The first appointment diagnosed the fault - which required the ordering of a new screen. I was kept informed of the order progress. Once it had arrived an appointment was made to come and fit the screen. Once again the appointment time was kept. The engineer was respectful of my property (putting shoe covers over his shoes) replaced the screen and confirmed it worked before leaving. I had no issues whatsoever and have been pleased with the service provided by YMMS.

    Awful they came out to my tv 1 month ago they said as it was intermittent they didn't have time so I had to video problem 3 weeks later I email, all ignored, I phone rarely get through they ignore phone when I did get through they promised to phone back but never did, had to make official complaint to John Lewis, who are as bad as this company and do not care!

    After experiencing a strange picture fault on my Samsung Tv I contacted the Customer support team who were NOT A GREAT DEAL OF HELP had surprisingly little knowledge after the frustrating conversation with them I gave up and went to the samsung service centre locator on the samsung website and found my local authorised service centre yorkshire multimedia services, as the tv was out of warranty I called them and they told me there would be a £30 diagnostic charge but based on model and symptoms they manage to give a price guideline which seemed reasonable I dropped the tv off and was told I would be called with an estimate within 3-4 days, surprisingly I got a call the very next day to confirm the TCON board had failed which was the part they said it may be when I called initially and the cost was that which they gave over the phone when i first called, these guys CLEARLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING I had called another independent company before I decided to contact samsung assuming the approved centre would be more expensive turns out they were actually cheaper than the backstreet repair shop cannot recommend them enough KNOWLEDGEABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY

    Yorkshire Multi Media Services are NOT approved by Samsung Company. I have contacted John Lewis Technical department to explain my dissatisfaction with the service repair I had for my Samsung 55" Smart TV. I was talking to John Lewis Technical support and explained the situation I had with Yorkshire Multimedia Ltd. About thirty days ago I have contacted John Lewis regarding my Samsung TV screen fault (LEDs failure, Black patch on screen) and quickly responded to send the local approved service company to collect the TV and do the repair. within four to five days the TV delivered by them with and powered in and looks good, I have to sign the receipt that the TV was delivered and working but I forgot to check one thing where I found out soon the engineer left, that the WiFi is not working on both wireless ans wired connection. I have quickly called the service company and explained, the person on the phone advised me to reset the TV to its factory setup and everything will be OK. I did but the issue still there and by resetting the TV I have lost all my Apps and specially Netflix, missed on Netflix programmes for a month. I had to contact the company again and they suggested to send an engineer to look at the problem. Any visit from the company has to fall within a certain date according to our home post code. so I was waiting. few days later the engineer came and examined the set and found that the WiFi receiver is faulty..!! I asked what cause it to be faulty when it was working when you collected the TV at first. his answer, not sure could be anything, we have to order a replacement and its only takes a couple of days. five days later I was chasing them and ask if they receive the part, the person on the phone answered not yet should we receive the part we shall contact you and arrange for a visit, I asked Where the part is coming from? he answered, its coming from Germany.!! A week later I made another call and only to know that the part has arrived but they didn't call me to let me know also, but arranged for the next day to be fitted by their engineer. When the engineer arrived I have asked him what is the source of manufacturer for this new part, he showed me the box in his hand " Amazon box" and the Item is maid in Taiwan.!! I asked why your colleague told me that its coming from Germany? Engineer: Smiles.... He opened the back of the TV to replace the item, and I only to find that the faulty Item was fitted on the TV was made in China. The engineer completed the swap and the system is working. I didn't believe that the TV which is made in Slovakia with South Korean parts should have a part made in China. So I have contacted Samsung company and had a conversation online, which proved that the part should not be made in China or no part should be made in China. I suspect the original part "the working WiFi part" was replaced with a Chines faulty part at the repair company premises. this is something I can not prove but I know it did happened after talking to Samsung. I am not happy with the way Yorkshire Multimedia Company dealt with the problem, I believe that My TV now contains Non-Genuine part which might fail again or cause further damages. I Will never deal with such people. Also I am very disappointed with John Lewis Technical Services as the have no clue what these people are doing and they believe whatever YMMS tell them. ZERO Star, recommended.
