I worked for Yorkshire Education during the academic year 21-22; there was plenty of work (I'm a secondary teacher), but they weren't always honest about it, such as sending me to do PE without telling me I'd be outside in the sun (I have vitiligo, so need to be careful). Check your payslips carefully - on three occasions they didn't pay me the correct amount, and when informed they said they'd pay it the following month - it's illegal to withhold money from an employee (which is what you're doing when you make an error and don't immediately rectify it). They still owe me 12p from my holiday pay, which they said by email they'd 'transfer immediately' but never did! Would I work for them again: no I would not.
