We inherited a pond when we purchased our home several years ago and it has been something we have never really got around to doing anything with. Having recently had part of the garden around the pond flagged it made our pond look even worse and more outdated than ever! I contacted Josh who straight away gave me loads of ideas on how to make our pond blend in with the Yorkshire stone flagging and become a feature to our garden instead of an eyesore. Josh and Simon spent 3 days transforming our pond and they were always punctual and polite as well as keeping us informed every step of the way as our new pond began to take shape. When we saw the finished project my wife and I were delighted and cannot believe the difference it has already made to our garden!! It is so refreshing to see people with a genuine love of the work they do and a desire to create something which will give pleasure to people for years to come. Josh and the whole team did a fantastic job upgrading our tired, overgrown pond and non-working waterfall into a great new garden feature. They cleared out the old ‘eyesore’ and reshaped the whole area. The waterfall and pond now look very natural and the soothing sound of cascading water is welcomed back into our garden. All the wildlife was safely returned to their new home. The change in design also meant we could enjoy the view from both the kitchen and conservatory windows. The polite and friendly team worked really hard over 2 days, arriving on time and being very professional throughout. They kept us informed all the way through the project and regularly checked with us about their design ideas. We would have no hesitation in using them again when the pond needs a clean or recommending them to anyone else. Thanks guys.

Josh and Simon did a thorough overhaul of my very overgrown pond. They worked solidly for over 5 hours and did a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. Excellent customer service and great advice too. They looked after our fish and frogs well too and re-did the heron wire (🤞). I will certainly use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We had been getting increasingly fed up with the state of our 14 year old medium sized formal pond. We were struggling to put plants on the margins which were at the wrong depth, the water was murky, and the whole pond looked uninteresting. Josh and Simon have transformed the pond and now we have regained our enthusiasm for having a water feature. They deep cleaned the pond, raised the margins, replanted the plants, installed a new pump, and carefully returned all the wildlife. All in a day. It was wonderful to watch the transformation, and Josh and Simon’s passion for ponds and water features is infectious. So much so that we will one day ask them to come back to change the pond into a more natural eco pond- they had brilliant ideas! And in the meantime we will book them regularly to help us keep the existing pond in good order.

We used Josh and Simon recently to undertake a cleaning up of our pond, as well as reinstalling a new pump and filter. I never know what to expect with any contractor nowadays in so much as you never know what you're going to get and quite often, getting them to turn up on time is part of the challenge. No such issues with Josh and Simon, they were on time, efficient and took time to discuss the ongoing options we had. A very thorough job and we're delighted with the outcome.

I recently used Yorkshire Aquascapes to instal a slate effect urn fountain in an unused stone pond area in my garden & I am amazed at the transformation! The fountain looks absolutely beautiful and it has really transformed the look & feel of the seating area. Josh & Simon did a fantastic job & had it all finished in one day.
