I started walking with Yorkie Talkies Outdoors in January. I've just completed my 6th walk and earned a free walk through their loyalty scheme. The range of walks (and other activities) offers plenty of opportunities for everyone. The evening walks have recently started up again and it's a perfect way to get out from behind your desk and enjoy some exercise, good company, and scenery after work.

I have recently started walking with York Talkies. I’ve been made to feel really welcome by both the leaders and other members on the walks. The walks are very well organised and the leaders do a great job of making sure everyone is looked after and safe. It’s great to have a group where I can just book and turn up and walk while the route and navigation is looked after by someone else.

I started walking with the group 5 months ago. From my first walk I felt welcomed and since joining I've met so many amazing people, seen some truly beautiful parts of Yorkshire and shifted nearly two stone in weight. You might think why would I pay to go on a walk: but each walk is like a gym membership, therapy session and a day out all rolled into one. All the group leaders are friendly and knowledgeable, no one gets left behind and you'll see just how much you are capable of. Can't recommend this group enough for anyone who wants to get out there, walk, make friends and create memories.

Highly recommend to anyone of any level of walking. The support you receive from everyone is mind blowing.
