Very reasonably priced, much better than larger hire companies and you get the same stuff with an even better service. I'll be hiring more tools in future for sure!

Review from a York based small business owner whose business is also 5* rated and is not that easily impressed.....Having dealt with Mark regarding the hire of some equipment I have to say that his hands on approach to running this business whilst offering a very impressive service regarding flexibility and cost is astounding. No closing 12pm on a Saturday leaving you high and dry without the necessary equipment to do the job for this guy...He understands that to be successful in business nowadays you have to be prepared to go the extra mile and being as he does this gladly and without complaint I hope he achieves with this business what he deserves....Not the biggest but certainly the best I have come across in York regarding tool-hire...I strongly would recommend anyone giving him a try as I very much doubt he will leave you disappointed ....Excellent throughout !!

Fantastic hired the stump grinder had a bit of an issue with the drive belt snapping machines of this nature have high vibration issues so can’t be avoided entirely but the customer service was superb ordered new belts to my house and fitted them and give me an additional 4 days on my rental will be using again

I can't recommend enough. We got an overgrown allotment a few weeks ago and we hired a petrol strimmer. We never used one before so it was a bit tricky. We got the strimmer delivered to our house in no time. We had a few struggles with the equipment (as we didn't know how to use it correctly)We call York Tool Hire on a Sunday morning and they helped us to get the strimmer working, answered all our questions and helped us to sort out everything. Great value for money too.

Been twice, both times last minute and they were very helpful and nice. Very good price, the tools I hired were (hedge cutter and lawn mower) were both in good order. Edit: Nov 2021, price is up from £8 for 24hrs to £20, but still pretty reasonable.
