I registered temporarily and was fortunate to see a doctor the same day about my breathing problems. They couldn't think of what might be causing the problems, so decided it was potentially psychosomatic and I should try yoga, and then prescribed a steroid inhaler - showing no interest in finding the cause. The next day my condition deteriorated and I contacted NHS111, who assured me someone from the medical practice would contact me within the hour. Nope. Four hours later I received a text message from Julian Cooper, stating he could see I had been fully assessed at the surgery. With that sort of attention to detail and patient care, I think I had best find somewhere else.

Since the retirement of Dr Tony Males this practice has seriously gone down hill. My pharmacy had problems with a tablet and e- mailed this practice for permission to issue a different size of the same product. A day & half later no reply had been received. I phoned the surgery and they admitted that they had the e-mail, said they would get a doctor to deal with it urgently & for me to collect that afternoon. I returned to the pharmacy but no reply had been received. I phoned the surgery and was met with an unhelpful attitude. I spoke with the practice manager who tried to talk down to me and was unhelpful as well. She suggested that I should find another practice. I was left with no tablets and a potential health problem due to their inefficiency & unhelpfullness.

This place should be giving masterclasses to the rest of the country on how to run a GPs practice - I have never known a practice like it. They will always see you on the day if necessary, and appointments for other days are easy to get hold of by calling at 8.30 in the morning. The receptionists are compassionate, efficient and friendly. The nurses have the sort of knowledge and understanding you might expect from a consultant doctor. There is a physio there every week and you can easily book appointments to see him on the practice website. I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment once I am there, and the doctors will get back to you the same day with replies about medication etc. I feel so lucky to be living up the road from them!

GPs are great, but process for getting appointments is awful - have to ring in the morning on the day with no online booking or even phone queue, so just have to call over and over again to get an appointment. Managed to go through that process today and book an appointment to be called by the GP, only to find out later in the morning that the appointment was not actually booked somehow despite verbal confirmation from receptionist. It was not possible to get one anymore as all slots were gone, and they were not even able to book me one for the next day, so will have to go through calling process again to get the appointment that I already booked. A ridiculous process adding unnecessary stress to managing health issues.

Drs and nurses are great, this is WHEN you have the luck to manage to get an appointment, only if you phone on the day between 8.30 and 9am.I am overdue for a treatment for THREE years and they have done nothing to sort it. Having to take days off work to be able to get a phone appointment with always a VERY rude receptionist.

Not the most welcoming staff I've ever came across with, but they were helpful and quite efficient at the end of the day. My whole family is registered at this practice, but we did not visit the place frequently so I can just express my opinion based on 3-4 encounters: I had to come back for a blood test form a couple of times because they did not print the form despite I've asked them on phone. Later, when it was finally ready for me to pick up, I've realized that they requested the wrong tests so I had to go back and tell the nurse, who was understanding, helpful and supportive so she printed a correct form for me immediately. Other than that, I've heard quite positive feedbacks from patients registered here.

It is not possible to make an appointment in advance. For same day appointments, the only ones on offer, you have to phone from 8:30am to 9. There is no call waiting queue system. I phoned 10 times this morning. Each time a few busy line noises then cut off. This is an anxiety inducing waste of time. The same experience every time. Recently my operation wound staples were removed in surgery. No cleaning disinfectant or dressing given. The bloody holes quickly became infected. After 9am the receptionist can be reached and can get the doctors to phone 3pm to 6 and then they can ask you to come in and when you do get to see them they are good. It is the in person appointment booking system that doesn't work.

We rush to A&E for my daughters eyes allergic reaction after 3 hours Doctors has results and they gave us a antibiotic eye drops unfortunately hospital pharmacy runs out this medicine and advise us to go locally and get from there Se have a letter from the A&E Addenbrooks hospital and this medicine had to be taken urgently ,we went York street Cambridge Pharmacy but they told us need prescription not letter from hospital that’s why I went our surgery next door . There was not even 1 patient in surgery. I had to sign the prescription from the doctor for 2 minutes to get it from the pharmacy next door The lady at the reception didn’t let us see our GP Dr Cooper She sent us A&E addenbrookes hospital instead and the doctors there had to write a prescription. A&E doctors wrote the prescription after long waiting hours we were able to take the eye drops. GP is normally our doctor for more than 10 years, for a simple procedure, when they do sends us A&E, the following question comes to mind, what does surgery do? If reception lady can make decisions like this . It’s really frustrating Can’t reach our GP when we need most.
