Snake oil merchant. Tried to sell me 3 months treatment for a “discounted” £1000. Absolutely shameful. Would expect nothing less from a used BMW salesman. Prying off people’s insecurities to scam them out of thousands. Get finasteride 1mg and regaine through prescription for a fraction of the price. (<£100 for 3 months treatment). All you need. LLLT is weakly effective but you can always buy/make your own equally effective red laser cap for cheap. FYI — all the negative reviews are legit and the owner gaslights them saying they’ve never been to the clinic. Peace! Will

I emailed a few companies specialising in hair loss treatments but was never brave enough to actually go to an appointment. I think we all look for a quick fix, something, easy, painless and affordable ! One day I came across the Hair Loss Clinic based in York, who use a laser lamp to treat hair loss. I moved on to read the reviews, It was educating reading! Fortunately for me, when reading reviews I have learned that you have to sift through the good, the bad and the ugly to make an informed decision. Had I just read the ugly, which some were very personal, it could have put me off and I could have missed out on what turned out to be a very positive experience, fortunately, the good were more informative of the actual product and from that I made the decision to get in touch. I turned up to the appointment expecting a hairdressing or clinic environment, I was surprised to find it was just an office. I met with Lee, who gave me details of what the treatment consisted of, it sounded too easy, I asked him all about the negative reviews and what would happen if it didn’t work, he replied, but it will !! Wow that’s confident… but what if it doesn’t, he replied again but it will. Still very cautious of this X BMW salesman ( this is the rude name he was called in a negative review), I wanted to know how he was qualified to make such a bold statement. It tuned out that Lee was more qualified than most in the effective results of this treatment, he had actually had the treatment himself after loosing 75% of his own hair. Yes he was a salesman, it’s how he earned a living but… he has been in your shoes, he knows how you are feeling right now. At this stage I was still unsure about what to do, I know nothing about this treatment and it’s a scary decision to make. Doubts, Doubts, Doubts….yes it costs money and the consistency is key, you have to be prepared to fully commit to the process to obtain the best results. Thankfully I did commit to the treatment….the lamp is painless, there is no heat, your scalp tingles a little after use but that’s all. The menthol shampoo also makes your scalp tingle a little, I took the vitamin tablets supplied and applied the lotion to my scalp twice daily all without any adverse reactions. The purpose of the whole treatment is to increase the blood flow to the scalp, improve the quality of the hair and follicle and encourage re growth. The process doesn’t give you instant results, you mustn’t get disheartened, consider the length of time it takes for your hair to grow. My journey with the hair loss clinic, the treatment, the products and most of all the support and commitment I have received from Lee, is without doubt one of the best decisions I have ever made. My treatment is still ongoing and the results so far, well they speak for themselves. Thank you Lee, for going that extra mile ….

From the 1st consultation with Lee, I felt support and empathy for how I was feeling. Lee clearly outlined the reasons behind hair thinning and hair loss and what can be done to stop it and promote New growth to restore follicles. What I will say is you need to fully trust the process and ensure that you follow all products and procedures within your time period. As you can see from below photos taken between 4-5 month period. Friends and relatives were 1st to notice my regrowth and that in itself was a huge influence and lift to my feelings. If you have any questions and need help to regain your hair growth without going under the knife contact Lee asap and start your own journey. Strongly recommend ad it does work! It's not an over night quick fix but trust it.

10/10 could not recommend this place and Lee enough. I started losing my hair (or perhaps thinning is a better term) when I was 19 and like most people felt worried, embarrassed and not sure how to prevent it from worsening. After weeks of research I came across York Hair Loss Clinic and sent through my online enquiry and within a matter of days I had my free consultation booked. Lee made me feel comfortable straight away as well as assuring me I was not an uncommon case and had helped many people in my position. Of course after my thorough research I had been doing on the internet over weeks I had plenty of questions which Lee had an honest and informative response for each one. After my consultation, Lee had set up a personal plan for me which he believed would best suit my situation. As I was about to start university, I did think Money may have been an issue but he built a payment plan that made the treatment affordable and I started the next week, since then I have not looked back. I have now been going to YHLC for over 2 years. In my first year I went through a shedding phase which I had read about online but Lee assured me this was apart of the process and occasionally things may appear worse before they get better, which was my case. One thing I will say is in order to get the best results, following your treatment plan closely and remaining consistent with it will give you your best results. I am constantly getting compliments from my barber on how thick my hair is now and have even have referred a few friends who are now looking to book their consultations. I have suffered in silence with my hair loss for a few years and i thought there was nothing that could be done. How wrong i was!! I have had 6 months laser treatment at the York clinic and my hair is as good as it was 20 years ago. I dont even think about it anymore. The service i received from Lee and Michelle was first class. They are honest and lovely people to deal with. I can't thank them enough! Please do not hesitate to contact them if you are experiencing hair loss. Do not give this company any business. Lee who is the branch manager their is a professional salesman and that's it. He tells you he can sort out your thinning by using the hair laser machine they have. Paid him £2000.00 for this. 6 months and it will be much thicker and your hair will be back again. I tried this and this did not happen. 6 months later and nothing happened. He will give another 3 months for free, come every week now and then it will be working. 4 months later, nothing was said, I had to bring it up and say it isn't working. He then said the options are I can pay him a further £2300 for a hair transplant in their Manchester clinic or have a wig stuck to my head. Those are the options. No refund offered. This company are a group of con artists basically. Do not use them. That laser hair Machine is just a red light. Sitting under a big standard red light for half an hour. All the 5 star reviews are clearly fake profiles. Their are absolutely no comments on their Facebook page about them. Their company should not be receiving any money. Avoid them at all costs.
