I have just completed my treatment with Dr Glover for 2 dental implants. I spent a long time researching the best cosmetic dentist in York and even longer plucking up the courage to make that first phone call. My time at the computer was very well spent. From the first appointment I was convinced I had come to the right person. Everything was explained in great detail and very thorough preparations were made at every stage of the process, x rays, scans and photographs and they were all done in a calm and reassuring manner. I was offered a sedative for the insertion of the implant but I didn't take it and didn't need it. The whole process took about 25 minutes and I felt no pain or discomfort at all either during or after the procedure. 4 months later I now have my beautiful new teeth and I'm absolutely delighted. My teeth were a mess with huge gaps and a denture which didn't fit. I love my food but eating was unpleasant. Now after having had 9 implants my life has changed. I've recently found York Dental Implant Centre and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I spoke to Mr Robert Glover about wanting two dental implants I knew I'd found the right dental surgeon. I found him to be professional, sincere, compassionate and honest. I had previously looked up his website and his credentials so knew I would be in the hands of an extremely well qualified and highly experienced surgeon. To add to this he was clear and decisive and explained each step to me and his reasons for his protocol. When I had the metal 'pins' inserted into my jaw bone he and his dental assistants were efficient and kind and knew I was in safe hands. We're in the middle of the covid crisis and I couldn't have felt safer; they had gold standard safeguards in place which was extremely reassuring. I chose not to have the free sedation which was offered to me for this procedure and I'm so pleased I did because Mr Glover has a screen on the ceiling and I got to watch the most incredible documentary of Patagonia! That was just the most thoughtful touch and helped to calm me immeasurably. It was so interesting and captivating that I was transported off to Patagonia which is far better than having your mind focused on your dental treatment! Would I recommend this practice? 100% I would and that goes not only for Mr Glover but his dental assistants and the reception staff who are efficient and welcoming too.

I researched dental implant practices extensively before choosing this one, and was glad I did. I now have a successful implant of one of my front teeth. The whole process was carried out very professionally, and the practice is well equipped. As well as clearly being very able, Dr. Glover is also very personable, putting patients at ease and making the whole experience as good as it could be. I would not hesitate to highly recommend. and
