To bring my sailing dreams closer to reality, I decided to enroll on the day skipper course at the YCTC. One of my clients had highly recommended them as a great place to start. Having completed and thoroughly enjoyed the course, I can only sing their praise a bit more! What a great bunch of people I’ve met along the way, not least of all our main tutor Jo, gallantly assisted by Quentin and the whole thing orchestrated efficiently and seamlessly behind the scenes by Maggie who chairs the Monthly socials at the York Brewery are part of the scene, with events and talks on a regular basis; something I’m planning to make more time for this year. If you’re needing to scratch that sailing itch, this is a great place to start. I can only thank them all for helping me take a step closer to my dreams. Coastal skipper course next! Recommended unhesitatingly, Ian
