FAQ

How do you ensure the freshness of your ingredients?

We prioritize freshness and quality in all of our ingredients. We work with trusted suppliers who provide us with fresh ingredients on a regular basis. Our experienced chefs carefully inspect all ingredients before using them to ensure their freshness.

How often is the sushi on the conveyor belt replaced with fresh servings?

We replace the sushi on our conveyor belt every 90 minutes to ensure that our customers are always getting fresh and delicious sushi. We also have a system in place to track the time each dish has been on the conveyor belt, so our customers can be confident in the freshness of their food.

Are there any vegetarian or vegan options available at your teppanyaki restaurant?

Yes, we offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan options at our teppanyaki restaurant. Our chefs are able to prepare delicious dishes using plant-based ingredients such as tofu and vegetables. We also offer vegetarian and vegan versions of our popular teppanyaki dishes.

What cuts of pork do you use for your tonkatsu dishes?

We use high-quality pork loin for our tonkatsu dishes, which is a lean cut of meat that is perfect for frying. Our chefs carefully prepare and bread the pork to create a crispy and delicious tonkatsu dish that is sure to satisfy.

What kind of oil do you use for frying?

We use a high-quality vegetable oil for all of our frying needs. This oil is carefully selected to ensure that our fried dishes are crispy and delicious, without any unwanted flavors or aromas. Our chefs are trained to use the oil at the right temperature to ensure that our dishes are cooked to perfection.

I recently visited this place. We found a table really easy but it was a Wednesday evening. Quiet atmosphere that allows conversation to take place. We ordered online scanning a QR code which was quite fast. The food is delicious and there is a big variety of choices. So far I have tried different things and I liked them all. It is a really difficult thing to distinguish which one is my favourite. The members of staff there are friendly and the service is fast. Definitely recommended if you see yourselves near there.

As much as we were looking forward to a lovely meal at this restaurant, we were ultimately disappointed by our experience. While the food was decent, we simply cannot justify the exorbitant prices, such as £6.95 for just four slices of salmon. We found it difficult to reconcile paying such a high price for a dish that we could easily make at home for a fraction of the cost. On top of that, the restaurant was almost empty, which did not create a particularly inviting atmosphere. We couldn't help but wonder if other customers felt similarly about the prices, or if the restaurant's unusual self-service ordering system may have put them off. While we appreciate the innovative approach of ordering via a website while in the restaurant, it was not without its faults. We found it cumbersome to use and believe that an app would have been a more practical and user-friendly option. Despite being one of the few tables in the restaurant, we were disappointed that the waiter staff never came to check on us or ask if we needed anything. It was frustrating having to flag them down to get their attention and ask for assistance. To make matters worse, even when we were ready to pay our bill, it was a mission to get the attention of the waiter staff. We felt that we were being ignored, and it left a bad impression of the overall service. All in all, while we enjoyed some aspects of our meal, we regret to say that we will not be returning to this restaurant due to the high prices and lackluster experience.

Jan and his team are excellent and so lovely! Myself and 5 others attended Sushi School here and we were so impressed with the knowledge and teaching! We learnt how to make sashimi, salmon nigiri, California rolls, and tempura prawn wraps. Great value for money!

A group of six of us dined in for the sushi school at Yo! Sushi Windsor and had a great time! The atmosphere was lovely and the team was very attentive. Special thanks to Jan for teaching us. He was very knowledgeable, patient and extremely helpful with every step of the sushi making! Would definitely recommend. Thanks again 😁

Disappointing customer service. Staff seemed confused and the lady (whom I assume to be the manager) when asked to get the correct order made a comment to the male chef on duty and they laughed amongst each other. I find this extremely unprofessional, to laugh at a customer when they are paying for a service at your restaurant. I am visiting all the way from Cape Town, South Africa and that was my first impression of your restaurant. I unfortunately would not recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting. I read the reviews before deciding to give you a try but I now agree with the rude customer service reviews.
