The worst place to work tbh. Staff are not well trained and don’t have much experience. The management is poor and they don’t value staff input.

It should be 0 star. The worst children contact centre. NOT RECOMMENDED. Dirty, dated open space with couple of mismatched sofas charged over £60 per hour. Staffs are rude & unprofessional especially the strange woman called Teresa. I was told that I couldn’t use the toilet facilities from 15 minutes before my 1 hour visit started. Staffs kept locking the doors. I believe prisoners have better visiting time with their children than YMCA children contact centre in Bournemouth. Teresa is a confused woman. She forget she is employed to work at contact centre. Teresa thinks she is the police & the court all rolled into one. Teresa visited my children home address for no obvious reason at all. Not a normal practice by any other context centres. There is no connection whatsoever between where my children live & using the YMCA contact centre for 1 hour every fortnight. Whilst Teresa was at my children’s home address she asked for as much information as possible in relation to our court case which was breach of court order and she took a copy of SECTION 7 reports. That was the second time clear breach of court order committed by Teresa. When I pointed that breach to her she didn’t even apologise. Furthermore, Teresa was very nosy she wanted as much information about my private life as she could get. Finally Teresa wanted to know if myself & my ex-partner are having any contact away from YMCA contact centre. I did pointed out to her that has nothing to do with her & that is not part of her job. Teresa is confused old woman rather than concentrating on her job at the YMCA contact she is breaching court order. In her little world Teresa thinks she knows the law but in reality she has no idea about the legal system.
