Camping is available on the lawn which suited us. Prices reasonable, and many like minded people the night we were at this YH - majority being cyclists or hikers passing through. Good experience.

Prior to walking Cleveland Way stayed two nights at Helmsley YHA. As all YHA set in great location town few min walk away from lots of pubs and cafés. You can also camp at this YHA with in their garden . The set standard for YHA, clean tidy with staff who clearly enjoy their job. Would highly recommend
