I have filed a complaint against the dentist with the nhs board and will also be seeking legal advice. I do not receive free dental care and as a tax payer am entitled to paid nhs treatment. I was told that I could not have a bridge or a filling needed in a front tooth and a side tooth unless paying private as he deemed them as cosmetic. I therefore paid for the filling in the front tooth to be done by him as private aswell as paying for the check up and a filling, the private filling to only last a week. The deep clean was rushed and was almost like he was angry he was having to do it leaving my gums bleeding and resulting in me telling him to stop the treatment.

I would give zero if I could. The practitioners do not care at all about their patients. My mother has been suffering with her teeth and their view is theres nothing they can do about it. Took her elsewhere, lo and behold theyve helped her. Avoid!

Service at the dentist has gone poor now, receptionist were good but the actual dental practitioner wasn’t. Booked in for a check up and clean, the dentist tried to only give me a check up and said my teeth are fine which was a lie as I did have plaque build up. When I asked for them to be cleaned it was very rushed and was done without care, my teeth must have got cleaned in less than a minute and after when I got home I could see that she didn’t clean them properly. The dental practitioner didn’t seem interested in cleaning or providing sufficient care to her client, this will definitely be my last visit here and I will be moving. I have tried out Scott Arms Dental Care who do charge more but the service is visibly better and you actually enjoy going dentist. It is a shame this dental surgery is gone bad like this, especially when it was very good previously.
