For peace of mind the wife and I put our trust in Yeomans to thoroughly inspect the pre-owned Skoda Fabia just purchased by the wife. A major investment with a service as well. While the service staff seemed efficient they nonetheless failed to detect a failing car battery. As such a second visit was needed ( again on a transporter - expensive twice ! ) to fit a new battery at great cost. Wincing at our unexpected huge financial penalties we thought all would now be fine. But no now it is overheating, on opening the expansion tank when cold I find this almost dry. Very strange what with being strongly advised to have the coolant topped up with the correct antifreeze, as was stated to have been done on the invoice. In short not all that satisfied with what Skoda UK says will be thorough professional service from one of their dealers !
