Why is it you cannot see a Dr but can see a nurse for a blood test ?. Are nurses expendable ? Additionally why are the Drs at this surgery still refusing to see patients when an NHS letter was sent to all surgeries in May 2021, stating that they MUST offer all patients a face to face appointment, I will take this further & investigateā¦.myself & others included need a face to face appointment particularly as people need to be examined. Shocking & very poor service.

Great initiative where there is a 'turn up and be seen' service every morning. Appmts then in the afternoon. Very efficient as you get 10 minutes for one problem, so those who need more time know they have to take an appointment. Dispensary on site too

Walk in clinic great idea and the choice to be able to see any gp or your own gp in particular works well. All staff friendly and helpful. Never had any issues that have not been resolved easily. All staff work well as a team.

Ok so the bad points: You can rarely get a booked appointment to see your doctor. So they do offer a walk in and wait service. However be prepared its very busy! The car park is tiny so difficult to get parked nearby . Now believe me you will wait. 2-3 hrs on average so take a book! You can opt to see a certain GP if they are on duty. I have seen 5 of the GPs here and 4 out of 5 were caring and pleasant and helpful. The 5th told me if i wasnt sure when to take my medication to google it! so not great but was a locum. If you do manage to have a golden booked appointment. Do not expect to be seen at your appointment time. Like I said take a book. Good points - Majority of doctors are of good standard and seem to care. Seem to have a more modern view of medicine. Onsite dispensary. And although small it does have a car park which outside of walk in and wait service is less busy and free. It could be alot worse believe me I've been to some pretty sketchy surgeries.
