I have had the opportunity of using Yellowsky's service this week and I must say that they did a great job but it is not quite the service I was expecting from them in the first place. I decided to give Yellowsky a go because it had so many good reviews online and it has been recommended to me by many people so many times that it was impossible that there wouldn't be at least a catch. Again, renting a van in London to move houses can be stressful and very expensive and when they are not necessarily offering a super expensive service, it still is expensive and not that cheap as many people had told me in the past (I believe that Covid might have something to do with this). First, I had to pay almost 80 pounds for a van (when I told them that I needed a medium size van I never imagined that they'd bring a massive van/truck over with them. I was only moving houses (a one bedroom room) not an entire house). Secondly, I had to pay 30 extra pounds for a man to help me load the van. This could have been avoided because I had a lot of help in the end so it was really my fault. I could have easily done the loading and unloading myself but seriously? 30 quid for loading and unloading a van in less than 15 minutes and with extra help from us? It is true that you want efficiency but I thought that was too much. Also, they said that my van included 2 hours of renting plus the miles. We did the whole moving thing in less than 90 minutes and they arrived half an hour late. I would have expected from them to reduce the price in the end or to give me a discount just given that they were not on time and I got to use their service in less than the estimated time. But this is how things work and you really have to pay for a service (per hour). Overall, I am quite happy with how everything turned out but I am not sure I will contact them again in the future. P.S. Final (and important) remark. I don't like to call someone out but Alex never wore a mask during our trip and he was coughing quite a lot, which made me uncomfortable. I think this should definitely be taken into account. P.S.2 I did my second moving with Yellowsky last week (after two years of having contacted them for the first time) and although they make it quick and efficient and I know I can rely on them when it comes to being on time, they again charged me 50 extra pounds for something I thought was included in the original price. I feel that they shouldn't give estimates when they are going to end up raising the whole thing afterwards. I keep calling them because they are cheap in comparison to other companies but not because I actually agree with the way they calculate the final price.
