Last year Yein provided me with herbal prescriptions to treat severe skin problems I was having. The skin problems were a combination of uticaria, eczema, angioedema and seborrheic dermatitis. The areas affected were my face, scalp, arms, chest, back, tops of my legs and one of my hands. The skin was hot, inflamed, itchy, extremely dry and flaking- life very uncomfortable. Yein was fantastic! She consulted with me at length on a weekly basis and adjusted my prescription each time to ensure the herbs matched the condition of the skin. Sending prescriptions swiftly by post so I never ran out. As promised by Yein at the beginning of my treatment, the healing would not be instant, as my skin was in a very poor state. However, week-by-week with Yein's prescriptions the skin improved. After a few weeks the heat and inflammation reduced, the itch disappeared and the skin began to moisturise itself again. Eventually all the inflammation disappeared, the colour of my skin returned to normal and the flaking stopped. I am eternally grateful to Yein for her treatment and will not hesitate to consult her again should my condition flare-up in the future. For anyone suffering with mild to severe skin complaints I highly recommend consultation and treatment with Yein.

This was my first ever acupuncture session. I found Yein to be very professional, she talked me through what we were going to do beforehand so I was prepared. The room was lovely, clean and welcoming. I had mild sciatica and the session really helped. Would definitely recommend her.

I first started seeing Yein for acupuncture sessions a couple of years ago. I knew she was the right person for me when she suggested we meet in a café to discuss my concerns and she bought me a latte! But seriously, when I went for my first session, I was lacking in energy, I felt run down and miserable, and I had sore and aching feet that made it painful for me to walk. I came to acupuncture almost as a last resort, but after my first session, I felt like I was walking home on air! I couldn’t believe the difference. I feel especially grateful that I found Yein as my acupuncturist. She’s very attentive and easy to talk to, and spends a lot of time at the beginning of each session to find out how you’re feeling in body and mind, then she tailors her treatments to address any particular issues that you have. I only wish my GP would do the same! She has also used cupping and massage when my issues that week have needed another type of approach. Yein is also a repository of sensible advice regarding lifestyle tweaks and recommendations for remedies to try. I always leave my sessions feeling better than when I went in!
