A group of us visited Ye Grapes for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. The pub is located in a little square off Piccadilly and was roughly a five minute walk from Green Park tube station. I had made a reservation online a couple of days before and received confirmation that our party of 7 could be accommodated. We got there early for a couple of drinks in the bar before going upstairs to the restaurant. The main reason why I booked Ye Grapes was because they had both British and a Thai menu, so everyone was happy. I must say that after reading some of the reviews, I was a little apprehensive, but my apprehensions were totally unfounded. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. They had a Thai lunch deal (2 courses for £14.50 between 12pm and 330pm) which was an added bonus. I had the Thai green curry with tofu, and it was really lovely and fragrant and not too hot. The kitchen is open until about 9pm. You're probably looking at about £20 a head for lunch and a drink. We took a 10 minute walk to Bond St to catch the Elizabeth line home. Would recommend a lunch time visit if you're in the area.

Busy pub in the market, only popped in for a quick post Sunday lunch drink. You can drink outside if you wish. There are TVs and music. We found it all a bit chaotic. We had to clear our little table ourselves. The bar staff wanted to help but couldn't get round to it. Good selection of beers. DON'T have the coffee is a good tip. Price wise, it's Mayfair, it's London, its never going to be an average price.
