Wouldn’t accept a return in store just because it was ordered online, now having to pay £10 postage. In response to the reply below - I received no such message (I didn't even place the order until 8th May). I visited the store on 20th May and the return was refused. The only message I have received is an email on 22nd May asking me to return by post (at my cost), and stating that you "will accept the late return past our 14-day policy". This is despite you being legally required to accept returns within 28 days, provided you are notified of the return within 14 days.

!!!AVOID!!! Scam artists. This company runs several web sites from the same warehouse in Manchester: The Sporting Lodge, Parasol Store, The Yard Store and PAM PAM. I made an order from the Parasol Store and they scammed me not delivering an item I paid for. Currently in dispute with them !!!AVOID ALL THESE SITES!!!

Really disappointed with Yards Store and my experience returning an item. Make sure you carefully check their returns policy before buying - my total delivery charges cost 21% of the actual items value and although I returned my item within 16 days of receiving it (well within the normal 28-30 day policy of similar retailers) I will not receive a refund. The total postage cost to me to receive and return the item was £11.60! (£3.95 to receive it and £7.65 to return it) and that's just on a single pair of shorts! It seems crazy to me because it's definitely enough to put me off ever shopping with them again and I would definitely advice others not to either.
