Our adoption process begins with an application form that potential adopters must fill out. Once this is submitted, we conduct a home check to ensure that the environment is suitable for the animal. If everything is in order, we arrange a meet and greet between the adopter and the animal. If the meeting goes well, we then finalize the adoption with an adoption fee and paperwork.

After enquiring about rehoming a pet I was ignored. In this time I was able to find a different rescue to then receive a text off of these owners trying to argue with me because I DID NOT TEXT HER BACK. Very unprofessional and her wording of language is disgusting. Having to rehome an animal for personal reasons is hard enough, nevermind the lack of understanding from this company. - I ENQUIRED… I did not make plans. The response to this is awful… why don’t you see how you speak to people is disrespectful. I have the texts still in my phone, telling me my dog was clearly a first come first serve basis, making me feel like I didn’t care about him. I was polite, I said no thank you and then you could have left it but NO you then started to argue with me and blocked me because you know you was in the wrong. I’m not here to have a debate with an old women. How you’ve got a business with your 12 year old attitude is beyond me. Also, you reply faster on a review than you do on text, but I thought you was busy unlike the other rescues. You trying to slate other business’ is not a great look.

After fostering 3 dogs for the Yappy Charity and being a member of the group, I have seen great team efforts to help all the dogs that come in to yappy care. Everyone does a great job from collecting the dogs to fostering and Louise and the gang sorting through endless applications for the dogs and doing all the home checks. It is a credit to everyone involved. I see frustrated people who don't always get an answer, however please understand that this is a charity and is run by people with jobs children and many dogs. If you are successful on your application you will be contacted. Keep up all the good work everyone you are all doing a great job with all the beautiful dogs x

Had the chance to see first hand how wonderful this rescue are when I was working in a local vets. A gentleman came in to ask about euthanasia for a young dog he’s inherited from a sadly deceased family member. This beautiful boy had developed separation anxiety and was showing signs of aggression towards people he didn’t know. We managed to convince the man to contact Louise and her team, and they welcomed this gorgeous boy, had him assessed and then sent him for sone intense behavioural therapy. When he was ready, they found him a safe, experienced home who would carry on the process of helping this gorgeous boy to regain his confidence and security and keep him on the right track. It was amazing seeing his story and knowing we’d played a tiny part in saving this boy. Thank you for everything you do Yappy Ever After. You always put the animals first, and I would recommend you to anybody. xxx

Caring rescue who take the time to rehome their dogs safely. We were lucky enough to get our beautiful dog from Yappy. She was placed in a foster home, which we were able to visit to meet her, and take her home after we had a home check. The rescue have a great support network, with people willing to give advice and help whenever we have needed it. Louise keeps in touch and is so kind and hardworking for the dogs in her rescue.
