We contacted Yana from australia to see if she would be free to take some family pictures for us. Being separated for a few years by Covid and normally separated by distance we just wanted something special to capture us all together. Fast forward to after the amazing shoot where Yana made us all feel so genuinely comfortable in her magic way and we were all in tears browsing the moments captured. Yana was our amazing photographer for our winter wedding. Yana really got a feel for our small family wedding and what we wanted. She was lovely and warm and encouraging of us which brought out the most stunning pictures. She mirrored our laughter and we enjoyed her company which made doing the photography a joy. Yana is an absolute delight! She is a professional through and through and manages to organise even the most disorganised of couples so that she can squeeze the most coverage out of their day. We met Yana at a friends wedding and not only was she absolutely lovely but she also captured some of the most amazing photographs of our friend’s big day. One of the major things which appealed to me was how discreet Yana is. I hate having my photo taken and Yana was a master at sneaking in shots without me noticing. She seamlessly weaves her way down an aisle or hot steps across a dance floor without stealing the limelight. There’s no awkward posing required, she just captures magical moments and will literally make sure she has a photo of every guest in the room. Another huge pull was yana’s experience of shooting abroad. We chose to get married in Spain and I wanted to make sure we had somebody who would be confident to get about independently and scout out all 3 locations for the wedding in record timing. Yana even threw in a free shoot with many of our guests the night before the wedding because she’d spotted a ‘great location and stunning lighting’ opportunity! We absolutely love our pictures, of which we have over 1000. It takes us half a day to look through them all but if we want a nice memento in a hurry we also have our wonderful slide show of the best bits which she set to music that makes us smile. Thank you Yana, we will always remember our day so fondly and you will always be a big part of that ♥️
