    I think the Yamaha r1 is rubbish bought a r1 in November put it in garage over the winter then in March wouldn’t start and never started since Took to two main Yamaha dealers now and after over £1000 they both can’t fix the bike or even know what’s wrong £14000 down the drain Don’t buy Yamaha go to Honda instead 👍

    Bought Yamaha Tracer. After 1x year the radiator started leaking. No signs of damage. Yamaha refused to repair or replace it under the warranty. Quoted £500 to replace it. Warranty worthless.

    Like some have said don't order from them, they have the worst customer service I have ever seen. They also sent me an email which had the wrong contact details for them it was a joke dealing with them & wrong tracking details for my parcel. There website may say 3-5 working days but it took 14days lol.

    Don’t buy Yamaha. Customer service useless. Bike was one month out of warranty. Two years and the sump had rotted out. We have had three new R1s in the last 6 years and never have the others rotted like this. Not even any hint of good will. Shocking customer service. Brought a Kawasaki Zx10r at the same time as the R1 and ridden in the same conditions as my Dad and I ride together the Kawasaki is not showing any signs of corrosion or rotting away. And with Kawasaki they extended the warranty because of Covid and was able to buy another two years manufactures warranty. DONT BUY YAMAHA

    Extremely poor customer service, placed order over 2 weeks ago, no emails received, no items arrived. Customer service is hanging the phone without giving any details. Dont make my mistake and order parts from them, use ANY other place, but avoid this at any cost. Lost over £300 with these muppets, as noone know where my order is.

    My R1 still under warranty.But nothing for free from yamaha .Rear wheel bearing fail ,thay have replaced them (.Lambda Carshalton).Play on wheel is worst then before .Took my bike back to them and now they said after marked wheel spacers has damage wheel hub.For diagnostic I was charged £250 .I took my bike away .My independent mechanic checked and it appears thay did not install bearings correctly. Over all May bike is grounded for 6 mounths now and I will have to fix it my self ..useless service and rip off.Do not buy new bike as if something goes wrong no one will help you
