Whilst we appreciate that the assessment process to be a foster carer is rigorous and intrusive, we expected to be treated with dignity and professionally, Xcel2000 lacked that by having a particular Assessor called L. who had no care or conscious of historical matters that are of a highly sensitive nature. In our circumstance, we were left feeling distressed and treated unfairly. Even the complaint system was poor. My letter was clear it was a complaint. Time was wasted from June to September to get a final response. Even they reply was unfounded. At the end of the day the "System" works for them. If you know what i mean. Not Us.
