This place is brilliant. The kids love it. The animals are well looked after, the parks and outdoor play areas are so inventive and not your normal "let's just stick a slide and a swing there" there's tunnels, tractors, go karts, crazy golf. The indoor play area is great too. I just wish the cafe had a little kiosk or something in the indoor play area as I couldn't really leave the kids to go and get a drink whilst they were playing as it's in another room. Staff are amazing and whenever we've been the people on the counter have engaged with the kids and got them excited for what's to come. An activity sheet would be a nice addition for the kids to do as they go round!

Lovely day out for the kids. Kids particularly loved sitting in the old farm machinery. Better care is required to maintain the hygiene stations in the animal centres. They have been in a mess the last few times we were there. So I'd recommend bringing wipes and alcohol gel to clean hands around the animals. Bring your own picnic and have it in the car park to save money.

The “farm park” was essentially made of a field and barn and the whole area was very unkempt with old feed bags, gates, fencing materials etc scattered behind and beside enclosures and the barn. The animals themselves seemed happy and the enclosures were adequate, however the mess that surrounded the barn and field was disgraceful. We paid for 2 adults and 1 child to do lamb feeding and were very surprised to be given only one lamb between 3 of us. We let our 3 year old feed the lamb leaving us wondering what on Earth we had paid extra for? A complete rip off. Moving back towards the play barn, the Wee Beasties shed was terrible. It is obvious that there had been some improvement works which had been abandoned - evidences by the half pierces of plaster board on the walls with mouldy chip board underneath - at the entrance to the building. The fish pond was dirty and “the cave” not open (or appealing from the outside). The dinosaur play area was tired and worn, and the play area (also run down and worn) was half taped off and situated under a power line making it very undesirable. The play barn itself was alright. The cafe drinks were acceptable but the food looked very unappealing with what looked like day old sausages, peas and sweetcorn floating in a cabinet near the till. These might have been alright but they certainly did not look appetising. Overall very expensive for a park that is clearly not making an effort to maintain and improve itself. Very disappointing.

Outdoor place was amazing and so was the soft play area. However we where disappointed about hot food being served only till 3pm, but the place was opened till 5pm. So what my kids are supposed to eat after 3pm? Cold sandwiches? Also the staff at the caffe shop wasn’t very polite and the coffee was below the average. So basically what I’m trying to say is that the place Is great to have some fun but the food is well below the average.

This place is dire. Firstly, I honestly can’t believe how expensive it is. It’s a complete rip off. I paid £25.10 for one child and one adult. There is a dramatic increase in price during the school holidays, a complete money making scam. 2. The place could be doing with a tidy up. Some of the animals, granted not all, are in poor condition. Ducks with missing plumage (an indication of a parasite), ponies in an area that’s unkempt with barely any grazing, fish in dirty tanks. A stressed out parrot that was shaking. Wasn’t great. 3. There’s no where to sit in the soft play. People leave their jackets on the seats and go off round the park, I had lunch at 1pm and there was a party table with old juice sitting there from when I came in at about 1030. Cups and dirty trays everywhere. 4. The cafe is extortionate. My son had s kids meal which was £5, and it honestly was so poor. All in these take away cartons, there’s no crockery in this place but big signs up saying “all our rubbish is recycled” good for you - but is it necessary to begin with? 5. Kids toilets had no soap nor was the hand dryer working, again.. yuk. 6. My son asks for a squeezy sensory toy on the way out… £9. This place is an absolute rip off, I would spend your money some place else.
