Christi was so helpful when we bought our house last year. She really listened to us and understood what we were hoping to achieve with the space we have. But she also always came up with new ideas to make everything just a bit different - “us” but not like we could have ever come up with on our own. She introduced us to some great furniture makers and fabric designs. She has a great eye for interesting colours, patterns and textures and often surprised me by putting together things that on their own I would have never imagined would go together - and it works! We moved in to a period cottage property in 2021 and had done very little for almost 12 months to make it a home. We’ve never used an interior designer before and historically would have thought it an additional expense that we could save on. We have been absolutely delighted with the personal and professional service offered by Christi and Wynd Design. She was quickly able to assimilate our tastes into her vision and gently push us in the direction of insightful and inspired design choices. Her ability to recognise practical and attractive renovation and furniture selection, beautiful colour palettes and be impressively amenable to our limited availability in and around work was remarkable and extremely appreciated. This didn’t mean that we blew the bank; Christi respected our budget choices and we were able to combine some DIY with externally sourced trade work to allow us to achieve more than we otherwise could (and subsidise some power tool purchases with the money saved!). All the trades that we used she had recommended were fairly priced, and very importantly, were extremely reliable and adaptable. All in all, we’ve been delighted with the service offered by Wynd design and feel that we’ve developed a friendship as well as experiencing a first class interior design experience.
