  Hadn't picked up on the need for a booked appointment today and arrived to see a rather curt notice that said " if you haven't booked an appointment you will be asked to leave". Stood at the gate to and rang to ask if we could enter and was simply told no. No attempt to offer an appointment, just no! That's a shame, we wanted 20 trees, will go somewhere else, less rude.

  Great service from start to finish especially the professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail of the guys onsite. Ordered 6 x trees to fill empty spaces in border and excellent service from initial contact, survey and installation. Wykeham were also happy to wait until our building work was complete to plant. Don't hesitate to contact and would highly recommend.

  A big thank you to the entire team. We received today 3 trees for above fence screening and are absolutely delighted with them. Martin has incredible knowledge and Claire has been fantastic throughout the process. The delivery was spot on, arrived promptly and even the gentleman even carried the trees across our gravel drive for me - didn't expect that! So, all in all an extremely happy customer.

  I would love to reccomend Wykeham, but unfortunately cannot. Found them on the internet,seemed to have good reviews. Initial dealing with with them was really impressive, pre-sales discussions and advise was I thought fantastic. Really pleased with everything, and I went ahead and visited to check the trees and put a deposit down for order. I had dealt with Martin howe. Visit was on the bank holiday in aug and delivery was on 5th Oct. Martin was fine in all interactions until the day of delivery. On delivery I was not satisfied with two of the trees, which were a bit lop sided and had some of the growth cut back, this meant it would take some years for the area to be covered again. This was not the way the trees were when we were sent pictures or when we visited and had a really really good look, and other options before agreeing to the selected trees. We had checked the trees from all angles. The delivery people were fine, got everything out and stood it up on the areas of the garden. I have no issues with them. When pointing this out Martin turned on me and became aggressive, and threatening. Things will go south if you don't watch it, for simply not being happy with two trees. He also accused me of being an arkward and bad customer, and gave me a take it or leave it ultimatum. After he pushed me for alternatives I told him that I'd take satisfactory replacements, refund or discount. He said flat out no to a refund or replacement saying there aren't any trees he could supply. Going on to say he'd already heavily discounted (this was due to end of season, clearing stock, and as he couldn't find the maluses he'd promised). I was then pushed on accepting the trees or they'd leave, I said if I had to then I'd accept for around £150 discount as to me the trees were only half there. He would only do £100. Rather than further come to any compromise he picked up the phone and called the truck to collect everything and began to pack up, stormed off. Due to his threats I was pretty upset, and had enough by this point and shouted bsvk at him I did not appreciate his threats in my home, and he can just go. The issue of two trees could have easily been resolved, yet he was extremely abusive threatening and unreasonable. Rather than look at solutions he looked for problems. To the credit of the management and office, they apologised and have begun investigating the matter. They've also refunded my deposit. But this is not what I wanted. As a result I can't reccomend Wykeham, due to the after sales and manner in which I've been treated. Also makes me question the validity or trust I could have in any guarantees offered if they did the planting and I followed all the after care instructions. They offer 3 years. No one wins here, wykeham misses out on a sale, and I don't get the trees I have waited and been looking for since June time. My advise would be to be careful, don't deal with Martin. Ensure you visit and take a lot of pictures of the trees, and if on delivery you're not satisfied then contact the head office directly to reach and agreement on alternatives or refunds, rather than deal with the sales person whose probably only interested in getting their commission! If it weren't for my experience at the end I'd have given them five stars. Really disappointed and will be waiting another year now, or atleast until spring before I can find time to source and put in new trees. Highly unlikely they'll be much left at this time of year.
