Myself and my family have used wye surgery for 25 years. The treatment we have received has been amazing, helpful, compassionate and professional at all times. Absolutely no complaints, very grateful for the NHS and all they do

This Surgery is an administrative shambles. Constantly gives out false information, near impossible to book appointments (even if they are available). Medical team are thorough and pleasant, but the clerical/admin side are making a mockery of that fact.

In a world we are always quick to complain, I felt we needed to give credit where it was due. My mother visited this surgery for MSK appointment on Wednesday 15th Feb. Mum was treated by DrJolyon Miles. She said she was given excellent holistic care, she was treated as a whole person not just the problem she went for. Mum felt she was listened to too. The surgery was very busy on the day she visited , but she did not feel rushed in anyway. Thank you for your care & attention to my Mum Dr Miles.

I moved here from another surgery around 6 months ago. I'm really hard to please but they are fantastic. The phone is answered promptly by pleasant and helpful people and I have been really happy with the service received. Dr calls back quickly and I have been offered appointments quickly. I am often called in a few minutes early for my appointment, really happy! I was very ill with flu recently and the Dr called me back the next day, without my asking, I didn't know he was going to do it. He wanted to check in with me and see how I was doing and if the treatment plan was working or whether anything else is needed as he was conscious of the weekend coming up. That's proper care. Thanks Wye Surgery x

Called yesterday, got cut off after being caller number 2 for about 10 minutes. Called back eventually got through only to hear there are no appointments. Called about my sons medication which the rude call handler said they don’t have for him, wouldn’t tell me what was on his records, even tho he’s my son and if she did I’d be able to tell her it was the same as what I was saying he takes but they had the name wrong. Didn’t manage to get anywhere with that. Oh and I was calling about me too as I needed to speak to the mental health nurse. No chance!! Oh and just to say I’ve called through today dead on 8pm and have gotten the engage tone over 200 times. Waste of time. Oh and the lady that every is mentioning is rude, I didn’t speak to her but know EXACTLY who they speak of. Good luck everyone!!

First the lady from reception is rude, second, e consult is not working and they don't answer at the phone or your number 10 in the queue. I wonder why as all the time I was there i was literally the only one in the waiting room and no patient got out from any doctor rooms, I understand that they may be underpaid but still, you can't play with people's life like that, quit and get another job.

This practice is impossible to reach. The lines queue well beyond capacity every day which appears to be the acceptable norm. You are pushed to Econsult which is not effective, or 111 which must be overrun with questions being referred back to GP's. I have been waiting for a month for response for a miserable existing condition requiring a simple request. The way the questions are constructed do not fit for existing conditions with multiple symptoms. People with mental health issues could be driven over the edge, or the elderly just give up. What is going on with GP practices, this seems a widespread problem and must be driven centrally.

Can’t express how disappointed I am with wye surgery. My 84 year old father has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s and MSA and none of the duty doctors can be bothered to see him and explain what is going to happen to him over the next few months. The reply I received was that they doubt he would have the cognition to understand this and the implications.
