Had a great experience with Wren from day one. It was great to be able to see on the computer how it would look and actually does look exactly like the design now it is finished. Communication with the company over delivery times was fantastic and even when bits were missing you just order them on the app and they arrive within two days. Another bonus was the virtual reality experience where I could feel like I was standing in the actual kitchen. Also very happy with the three year interest free option. Would recommend.

Wren order number 37113671, so they can reply if they seem fit! The rating would be ZERO if it was possible. Everything about this kitchen company has been a nightmare! I'm not going to try to 'black cat' anyone/anything that others have written on the group (on Facebook! search for it or beware). But just to inform you of our problems, so far. Saw the Wren advert and needed a kitchen so thought would give them a try. That was spring last year, very swept up technical support & plan to get you to sign up to the interest free deal. So far so good. Long story but eventually the kitchen turned up in Nov! We looked at the units and (unsurprisingly (now)) they were of a pretty poor standard! Inside(s) chipped, scratches, marks and just poor quality. So, like many, took photos, spoke to the installation team manager who informed us 'most clients just let us have access to their houses, leave us to it and then will see the finished product later.' But we're not MOST clients (we were going to be there throughout) and we wanted to ensure that what we were spending over £20k on, plus installation, was of a good standard. Then, after about 2 months (numerous phone messages, texts, emails) 'our' field agent was, eventually, involved. He said that the units were all produced to the furniture industry standard! Well they may be but that standard must be fairly low (my comment!). He then tried to quote trading standards to my wife; she, diligently, called Trading Standards to be told that we (as customer) can refuse any items if they are not of a suitable standard. The Wren, agent, eventually agreed to replace all of the damaged units except the one (which we suggested was of a poor quality, even though the damage was at the rear!) large carcass. Several conversations/days later, we told him we either wanted all (damaged) units replaced or Wren remove everything and we would go elsewhere. We also gave them a timeline of 2 weeks as this had been going on for 4 months, to then. They, finally, relented! So, Monday, ALL the 'old/damaged' units were flat packed; Tuesday the 'rubbish' was collected and today the new kitchen was delivered. We also stipulated that if ANY of these units are substandard then that is it! Wren collect everything and we'll go elsewhere. Stress has been ridiculous, no kitchen (oven, cooker, sink, washing machine) for 4 months; nearly a year from us walking in the showroom in Basingstoke; carcasses in the kitchen, lounge, garage and neighbours garage. Today, the new units turned up having been through 'some QC' process. Unfortunately, as we'd expected, there were at least 6 of 10, we looked at, damaged in some way. We didn't bother with examining the 6 as we were fed up by then. Now, to try and get some money back, I doubt very much whether we'll get anything in the way of compensation for not having a kitchen for 4 months and counting. My advice stay well clear and don't be taken in by their advert or swanky looking showrooms.

The initial planning went well and they provided great design and support, however when it came to installation it was a nightmare, they cancelled my delivery date without telling me so I had to reschedule, and even after than, when it was being fitted there were several missing doors and units, the trim I had discusses and was detailed on the order didn't match what I wanted, when the parts eventually arrived they were delivered to the wrong address and the worst part was I started having the kitchen installed but the worktops weren't planned to even be measured in until 8th of August!! I've been without a kitchen for 3 weeks and still have over a week before its done, no temporary worktops have been installed and the kitchen units now face being damaged.

Well, our one-stop-shop dream kitchen turned into a bit of a nightmare. Yes, it now looks great but a series of issues has made the whole experience unpleasant and stressful. The surveyor who came to price up all the extra work missed a fundamental issue which meant we didn't get the outside vented extractor we wanted so much – but we only found out that when the fitters turned up to start work. We had to arrange and pay for removal of our ceiling. The Wren floor we chose was discontinued, but no-one at Wren thought to let us know, they just took the flooring off the order, so we had fitters waiting to fit a new floor and no new floor! I had to go and buy some off the shelf that day to keep the job moving. Oh, and pay the fitters extra to fit it. No-one mentioned we would need to arrange painters – more time and money. Four separate deliveries damaged, so we had to delay and wait for replacement items. LED lighting and electric sockets missed off the finished job. Looks great now but are we happy? No. Would we ever go to Wren for anything else? No. Service: Kitchen design
