FAQ

What types of grapes are grown on your vineyard?

We grow a variety of grapes on our vineyard, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.

How do you ensure the quality of your wine?

We ensure the quality of our wine by carefully selecting only the best grapes from our vineyard and using traditional winemaking techniques. We also have a team of experienced winemakers who oversee the entire process from grape to bottle.

What is your winemaking process?

Our winemaking process involves picking the grapes by hand, pressing them, and then fermenting the juice in stainless steel tanks. We then age the wine in oak barrels to give it its unique flavor and complexity. Finally, we bottle the wine and let it age further in the bottle before it is ready to be enjoyed.

Do you offer tours or wine tastings on-site?

Yes, we offer tours and wine tastings on-site. Visitors are welcome to come and see our vineyard and winemaking facilities and taste our wines. We also have a shop where visitors can purchase our wines to take home.

What sets your vineyard apart from others in the area?

Our vineyard is unique in that we use only traditional winemaking techniques and focus on quality over quantity. We also have a beautiful location in the heart of the Somerset countryside, which makes for a wonderful day out for visitors.

Best wine tasting & tour I've ever experienced! Wraxall vineyard is beautiful with stunning views across Somerset. The wonderfully warm & erudite hostess Lexa gave us a fascinating while we sampled the wines (the sparking one is delicious and the rose simply summer in a glass!) She was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all our questions all the while weaving anecdotes about the colourful characters from the vineyard, and stories from the history of the vineyard into the explanations of the wine making process. Couldn't recommend it more highly - we'll be back soon!

We visited Wraxall’s Vineyard for a tour, tasting and lunch as part of a hen weekend. Lexa and the team were so helpful and welcoming. Lottie planned our lunch accounting for multiple dietary requirements and also recommended taxi companies for our visit. Rory took us on the vineyard tour which was really enjoyable and informative. Highly recommend! The wine is absolutely delicious and we had such an enjoyable day. Thank you again
