Nothing negative can ever be said about this campsite.. Its an Oasis of adventure wrapped in the greenery that this lush area offers. Family orientated, peaceful and with all the home comforts near you IF you so desire.. clean, hot well lit shower and wash areas, well stocked shop, kiln dried wood at an exceptionally reasonable price... we find it hard to stay anywhere else! Safety: Marshalls on site.. kids have the freedom to get lost safely!

We had the most incredible time at Wowo and actually got engaged during our stay over the weekend! The staff were all wonderful & did very well about keeping the secret when we arrived. The facilities were great, people lovely and the overall stay was so calming! There's also so many brilliant things to do/ places to eat nearby & we loved the wild spa!

Location is just amazing, their goals for sustainable camping also need to be praised but their organisation needs a lot of improvement. Team at reception that greeted us were not prepared and directed us to 3 “potential” spots to put up our tent just to come and let us know we need to move 1.5hr after as one of the potential spots we chosen has been actually reserved by one group (same was with our group of 5 tents but hey?!). We were frustrated and confused as lady who was informing us we need to move couldn’t find our group on the list?! Anyway we moved after setting tent and all of our gear already :( There is “No amplified music playing “ rule that doesn’t make sense as it’s not unforced after midnights when one party of 6 camper vans decided to start their birthday party celebration regardless of 30 nearby tents and everyone winding down to sleep with kids etc. We all complained but their excuse was their shift is only until midnight so sorry but not sorry. However, every night around 7pm (end of April daylight during our stay of 4 days) you are told NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC?! Facilities are way bellow standard of camping locations we stayed at so far. Nearby Bluebell Railway is a MUST and so is 360 Brewery! Again for us highlight was nature and that is about it.
