I can't thank the registration office enough for the kindness and support that we received as a family during the passing of my father Barry. The initial phone call to the registration office was handled by the most wonderful calm and professional man who really could not of been any nicer. His calming voice and reassuring manner was just what I needed when having to make such a difficult phone call to book an appointment to collect the death certificate. At our meeting we met by the wonderful C S Catt (Deputy Registrar) who was simply charming. We were welcomed, made to feel so relaxed and comforted. Such a kind and genuine caring person, who took a genuine interest in my father and our lives. We walked away with a smile on our faces feeling so uplifted from our experience, which we were dreading. What a wonderful team you have at Worthing. Thank you so very much for the love, care and support that you displayed to us as a family during this difficult period.

BE WARNED - the registry office is no-longer at this address - it has been relocated to Centenary House BN13 2 QB (near the Police Station) in Durrington. Our party nearly missed the wedding slot as a result of website information not being updated or withdrawn. I have given feedback to the WSCC in the hope that they will take on board that wedding parties do not need the frustration and worry of being sent to an old location - fingers crossed they will sort this! Centenary House is lovely - I have rated the old location
