Having used these services myself I would like to make people aware this organisation exists to make money out of vulnerable people who are struggling. Having ''support'' available is an excuse to charge over £300p/w for a single hostel room, most of which is paid for by the taxpayer. The main cause of homelessness locally is a shortage of affordable/social housing and as someone who has experienced homelessness I find it upsetting that organizations like WCHP receive funding that could be used to build more social housing, which would benefit not only the homeless but also people on lower incomes.
