    I have signed up with world pay few weeks ago as I have started a new business. Payments through this linked to my business account. They were holding 2 of my payments worth over £1000 I was promised that next day settlement. I had message on my phone that a direct debit was declined and I will be charged for this service I was shocked to see this message I went to the bank to check and found out funds are not available. I call Worldpay to find out what was going on I spoke to someone in Philippines and I was told I have to wait for 3 days as the department who deals with this are closed and they will open on Tuesday. I waited patiently and I called them at 10am I spoke to a very angry and rude person who sounded like an angry man that he didn’t like his job calls are recorded please listen to calls. He advised that we have sent you an email that your account is on stop and he doesn’t know the reason and I was told that email was sent to me about but this wasn’t the case no email was sent to me at all I explained this to angry man he said he’s will resend this and I will have to show further documents I advised him not a problem we will still talking but angry man has put the phone down. I rang again spoke to a lady this morning I advised her that one of her colleague has hung up on me but she didn’t care and she said this was someone else not from her team. Totally shambles. Then she advised that she will log the complaint. 😊 Then they sent me an email asking for documents and invoice for payment this was sent to them within 30 minutes of the email which was sent to me. Now it’s Friday 15:00 hours I just called to speak to same team and same lady I spoke to on Tuesday morning she answered the phone and advised that you have to wait 5 Woking days for us to reply back or release your funds. Totally shambles. Due to this I have decided to cancel my contract and no wonder these guys have 1.5* I wish I could leave them with 0* but there’s no option to do that. I will complain about these crooks. Please try to avoid these crooks.

    Deceptive company. Seized funds for 3 weeks - claiming they needed more information, but chose to write to an old address so they could hold the funds for as long as possible. Feels like a scam artist. Avoid like the plague. Customer service are a joke - overseas call centre with no ability or empathy.

    Have just left Worldpay due to the high fees of £47.00 per month, taken additional payments from my account and having to wait 7 day for the refund for their mistakes. Now having to waste 3 hours of my time to correct their issue. Would not recommend this company to anyone. I believe they are pricing themselves out of the market

    Extremely slow, unprofessional and unhelpful. All I needed was to integrate my Shopify store with Worldpay. A member of the sales team said it will not be an issue as Shopify is already on the approved list. However, the technical team is absolutely clueless and keeps on asking me to do a vulnerability scan despite shopify being on WorldPay's approved list. In one word, the technical team is clueless and seems to be outsourced. Extremely disappointed with the lack of service and would not recommend WorldPay to anyone.
