What could i say, It is like a Temple to each and every Sri Lankan Tamil's. We visit every year on 27th November Cold/ snow or rain nothing stops us. We believe that by visiting this place every year could help to ease the emotions and pain that we carry. Thanks a lot to the organizers. What they do is so natural, with no fancy or no luxury. just feel like we are in back home. I hope, the people who administrate this place will manage to improve accessibility soon, so everyone can come and do their respect. Thank a lot again.

We commemorate our Tamil Remembrance Day here. It is a beautiful site and a safe space for Eeelam Tamils to pay respect to their dead, especially as Tamils face opposition from the Sri Lankan government for doing so in their homeland.
