Has been a good little while since I've visited this store, needed a few bits and as I was passing by I thought I'd stop by and check it out. First of all: the old manager, Angela, no longer works here and the shop has a new manager called Craig. He wasn't working today but the staff were working were very helpful. I'm sorry but I didn't get the member of staff's name but he helped me pick out specific plants for my pond and gave some expert advice. He was tall and had a beard, hopefully that helps. Secondly: I've noticed other reviews stating that the shop appears to be run down. In certain areas yes, I do tend to agree. The back garden area could do with some investment, some features not working, back pond in the middle of a clean etc. The tropical room appears dark and one system appears to be closing down. Roof has some damage from the recent windy weather also however to me it does seem like the staff have made some effort towards making the area look better. I noticed that all the food and filters in the pond area have been moved around. Food is now neatly tucked together in the back corner and it does look rather nice, compared to what it was. Some lovely koi also on display. In summary: an enjoyable experience made mostly from the staff's attitude towards serving me. Some improvements hopefully to be had but this shop has a bright future I'd say. I hope to return soon to see if things are continuing to be on the up.

Hadn't visited WOW in over a year and was surprised to see how tired things appeared. Lots of new water features on offer. Some were working and others appeared either in need of repair or had simply given up. We were the only visitors at the time, but no one approached us to ask if we'd care for some help. We're hoping to return I'm the next month to see if new features have been added to offer as suggestive ideas. There's an impressive coy pond with beautiful fish. We're interested in starting with 5-6 coy, but apprehensive to make such an investment without advice. Just didn't feel comfortable in the absence of any proactive support from staff.
