Larapinta In Comfort 6 Day Classic Tour. May 7th to 12th 2023. This tour was amazing from start to finish. The scenery, the camps and facilities, the food and last but certainly NOT least, the tour guides. Our 4 guides never stopped working and were so... kind, thoughtful and nothing was any trouble. Callum, Celeste, Jessie and Mads are a credit to Australian Walking tours. Our first sunrise at camp was so beautiful and will never be forgotten. The 6 day tour was hard work at times, mostly due to the rock and hard surfaces which were very common place in that part of the world. The early morning start (3am) to summit Mt Sonder was amazing, but hard work, particularly when coming back down. Brunch back at the camp that morning, about 11am was mouth watering (as were all the meals). Thanks again to everyone involved with World Expeditions and Australian Walking tours.

I put a deposit down on a trip to Costa Rica for April of 2022. The deposit total was $2000. I had to keep calling (across seas) to see about my confirmation. I was then told my confirmation was rejected and that I would have my money returned in 72 hours. I still do not have my money and my friends and I will continue to write these reviews until this company is out of business.

After three failed attempts to visit Nepal and Everest Base Camp due to the pandemic, the UK team couldn't help enough with the forth rescheduling and assistance leading up and throughout the epic trip to Nepal. It was a truly wonderful experience from the moment we were picked up by the hotel staff and meeting Samde our guide, a lovely man who couldn’t do enough for us. These guys make the trip happen and without them would make it near on impossible. I did the trek for a charity close to me, Asthma UK and something I've suffered with for over 40 years. Raising a large amount of money to help with future research. Until the next world adventure, thank you once again to you and your colleagues in Nepal. I will be back at some point!

The ancient landscape and special spiritual places of the Larapinta Trail were mesmerising. The 6 day itinerary covered all the highlights and having three camps allowed maximum walking time. Nice to have the alternate long and short days and I learned a lot from the Standley Chasm cultural talk. The guides had said ‘take your time’, ‘be in the moment’ and that’s how I like to walk. They were so patient with me hanging at the back of the group taking photos and soaking it all in! Thanks so much for your care and professionalism Ruth, Claire and Peter. Met some lovely people too!

We are just departing Kathmandu for the UK after completing the Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar over 55's trek (20/03 - 09/04). what an outstanding experience and all down to the World Expeditions staff who accompanied us on the trek. The professionalism of the Trek Manager, Sanji was beyond reproach. The guidance and information we received from him was brilliant and made the all the difference in reaching the top of Kala Pathaar. Thank you Sanji, you help create a memory that will hopefully last for a long long time. What a team.

Travelled with W.E. several times end of 1999-05 when they were a much smaller company. Had a great experience on all trips. However, in. more recent years since they have swallowed up numerous companies I notice the pricing has really rocketed when compared with other established companies. As with all others the trip lengths have evolved into shorter more annual leave size lengths, no doubt to cater for the lucrative bucket list market. All very main stream though a sign of the times. Prior to lockdown I was interested in one trip but at a price considerably higher than other reputable competitors and with no explanation as to why I gave up. I appeared to have travelled with them in better times.

I went on a trek to the Himalayan region of Nepal. World Expeditions organised everything, from the flights, to the food and accommodation. We had guides and sherpas, all provided and the itinerary was second to none. I went with a grup of nine other friends and we all agreed that World Expeditions made it the holiday of a lifetime for every one of us.
